Visit Wrenbury .. And stay awhile

There are many local footpaths in the area including Wrenbury Village Circular Walk. This comprises of a 15 mile walk around the area which can be done in sections, with easy access back to the village

St Margaret’s Church

St Margaret's Church overlooks the village green. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Macclesfield and the deanery of Nantwich.

St Michael’s Church

St Michael's Church is in the civil parish of Baddiley, It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. It dates from the early 14th century. The nave and chancel are divided by a pre Reformation screen and tympanum. The church is one of a 'handful' of timber-framed churches remaining in the country

Baddiley Reservoir And Mere

A small reservoir and mere that supplied drinking water to Nantwich from 1855 until the 1920’s

Llangollen Canal

The Llangollen Canal crosses the border between England and Wales. The waterway links Llangollen in Denbighshire, north Wales, with Hurleston in south Cheshire, via the town of Ellesmere, Shropshire. The name, which was coined in the 1980s, is a modern designation for parts of the historic Ellesmere Canal and the Llangollen navigable feeder, both of which became part of the Shropshire Union Canals in 1846.

Flora and Wildlife

Pick wild garlic in April/May from around Paradise Bridge and the wooded area by Wrenbury Mill. Watch the seasons change and the countryside bloom. Look out for little owls, woodpeckers, hawks, buzzards, rabbits and hares
